“Here’s what some of Amy’s clients are saying about coaching with her:

“Thank you, Amy Todisco, for getting me off the couch. You should charge double!

Your gentle, easily achieved, step by step guidance turned my absolutely insurmountable problems and situations into something that was accomplished one inch at a time, one moment at a time, one piece at time. Your patience and encouragement has made such a difference in my life — you are truly gifted in a way that is rare, indeed. Thank you for giving me back my life and banishing my depression and paralysis; for instinctively knowing how to ‘handle’ me and saying just what I needed to hear.

Thank you for accepting me completely the way I am, despite all my shortcomings, and seeing and celebrating each step forward I have made. By leading and not pushing. By suggesting and not demanding. By asking and not telling. Thank you for finding my sense of self worth – for helping me solve work, home, friendship, clutter (!), family, financial, crippling depression, parenting, relationship, and spiritual concerns. Even my pets are happier. Again, thank you, Amy Todisco, for helping me get off the couch!!!!!”

“Dear Amy,

I’m writing to tell you how lucky I feel to find someone with your coaching skills. When I read about this on your web site, I had no idea what it would be.

I have had years of vaguely successful “shrinking”. I have always heard that the “gold standard” to insure success was these people’s credentials. But what credentials often hide is a basic listening and ability to re-create what one hears, which I feel, is an enormous skill -some have it, some don’t. You have it in spades!!

What I also found was that I don’t have this basic tension I usually have with a shrink as to whether they were going to slot me into one of their “phobia A, check here and proceed ” categories. I felt you and I were on the same level and I didn’t need to try and outsmart you in order to maintain my dignity in getting help with a problem in my life.

A curious thing–I went to a shrink for more than a year recently to deal with wanting more friends in my life, and never really resolved anything. I had 4 sessions by phone with you and we quickly got from that to a love relationship with a man and what my blocks were–wanting what I’ve heard is unconditional love, not knowing what that really means and how one develops it?

I’m really excited, hopeful and looking forward to our next session.

All the best and thank you,”

“In June of this year (2008), I had the pleasure of being coached by Amy, dealing with my daily stresses that were building and I needed help. Well, I decided that a Life Coach might be the answer and AMY was. She listened to ME and listened to everything I said. She made me feel comfortable enough to talk about things I would shy away from at one time. It was as if she was my shadow. Amy is a terrific listener and a true PROFESSIONAL LIFE COACH, Thank You so much Amy I wish you all the very best in your coaching years to come. Yours truly,”

“Life coaching with Amy Todisco took me to the places I hoped to go as well as to some places I dreaded – which turned out to be not so bad at all and well worth visiting. Together we examined the stories I tell myself about myself and how they were (and were not) serving me. In three months working with Amy, the coaching sessions and my follow-up work between sessions propelled significant learning for me.

Per my own wishes, I’m now asking better questions (of myself and others) and finding resources in places I hadn’t previously considered seeking them. All that and the coaching was fun, too! Amy’s innate kindness, sense of humor, and ability to hear clearly and reflect what she hears make her a delight to work with.”
